Third Eye was a live concert captured at the Somerville Theatre in Somerville, MA. The Bruce Gertz Quintet, or 5et, comprises members John Abercrombie (guitar), Jerry Bergonzi (saxophone), Joey Calderazzo (piano), Adam Nussbaum (drums), and Bruce Gertz (bass). This project was made possible with a Jazz Performance grant from National Endowment For The Arts. The1992 concert is wonderfully captured on this 1994 release on the RAM Records label based in Italy. It received excellent reviews.
