Using a generous grant to record at Guilford Sound in Guilford, Vermont, Gertz assembled an all-star cast of players and colleagues to collaborate on this inspiring project. The musicians (all Berklee College of Music professors) were put up in a beautiful Earth House for seven days with full-day access to the state of the art studio. The album includes eight new Gertz originals and two tunes by Dino Govoni (saxophone) and Casey Sheeuerell (drums). Long time friend and colleague, Ken Cervenka (trumpet) is also featured on this album. Andy Edelstein captured all the sounds as their trusted engineer... the result is stellar.
