Blueprint is Bruce Gertz's debut album as a bandleader. It features his all-star quintet performing an impressive collection of Gertz compositions: John Abercrombie (guitar), Jerry Bergonzi (saxophone), Joey Calderazzo (piano), and Adam Nussbaum (drums). The album earned great reviews in both US and European jazz publications. It was first released on the French label, Freelance 1992 and was re-issued on the US Label, Evidence Music in 1997.
